A hard wheel caster will skate and slide on a hard floor. This unintentional movement can damage & cause injury. Further, your hard floor can get permanent scratches and blemishes spoiling its look & durability.
Soft wheel casters are used on hard floors. The soft tread of the caster is manufactured using high grade polyurethane compound. This feature of soft casters enhances your chair movement and safety. Wheelon's soft (Anti Skid) wheels provide superior grip on hard floor surfaces.
Soft wheels provide traction and prevent sliding on hard floors. It avoids spinning out of control while the user is seated or rolling away when the user stands up and again tries to resume a seat.
A soft caster sinks in a soft flooring like a carpet and the user has to use excess force to move the chair. With the force applied, the chair often topples over & which leads to user fatigue & irritation. There are high chances of carpet damage.
Hard wheel casters are used on soft floors. These casters are made of rigid nylon and provide great floor compression. They provide the required grip on soft floorings.
Hard caster ensures the chair glides smoothly across the carpet. It prevents carpet damage and provides easy chair mobility to the user.
